11 Feb: Knife, but not as we know it

The ABC has commissioned a new comedy series from Jungleboys, the production company behind the critically acclaimed comedy A Moody ChristmasThe Elegant Man’s Guide to Knife Fighting is a six-part sketch comedy series based on an experimental online comedy program of the same name. It boasts a formidable cast including Patrick BrammallPhil Lloyd, Janis McGavin, Georgina Haig, Brendan Cowell, Helen Dallimore and Jane Harber. Executive producer Jason Burrows describes the series as ”a really exciting platform to showcase the work of some really original comic writers, performed by great actors and directed by top-class talented directors. It is a fantastic original and collaborative show that we could only be making with ABC TV.” The series will be filmed in Sydney.
